The latest Counterpane crypto-gram newsletter has a *very* readable
essay on "Key Length and Security" which explains in a very clear
way why longer keys don't deliver the security they are usually
promised to. I highly recommend the article.

There are also some interesting comments at the end of this issue that
point out the woeful security of several of the online stock trading
companies.
